i got trouble sleeping this past few days… so i spend all the sleepless night watchin movies… i don’t want to feed my insomnia with a stupid, boring, lame film so for the millionth time, i watch great expectation (starring ethan hawke & gwyneth paltrow and directed by alfonso cuaron)… i still can’t put my mind on the fact that the movie was release 10 years ago and the story was written by charles dickens and release in 1861 and yet, it still relevant with our life today… with the same title, the film was written loosely based on dickens original storyline, it still hold the value that suppose to make it one of the greatest & important literture that ever been pulish. the story manage to capture almost all of what make human, human. people put so much thought on how every single things that they do need to be acknowledge while the right things to do is that they need to acknowledge it to themselves. people keep trying to find the reason for something that suppose to have meaning to them. no matter what it was, they seem to lost focus on what is the purpose to really find the meaning. dickens was trying to elaborate that fact that whatever yo do in life, the only thing that really matter was if you really understand who you really are and the meaning will surely come to you…
